Tasmanian Tyre Cleanup

Around Tasmania old car tyres are being stockpiled in backyards, farmland and schoolyards and dumped in bushland, creeks and beaches. They are a fire hazard and if burnt release toxins in the soil, air and water. They breed mosquitoes and are an eyesore in our bushland.

WHAT CAN YOU DO: Report tyres, volunteer to help with tyre cleanup events and donate money to pay for tyres to be recycled.
