Introduction
Tasmanian waters is home to some of the most spectacular marine life and best diving on the planet.

The Tasmanian Conservation Trust has been working for the protection of the marine environment for many years.

The TCT has been involved with issues relating to marine reserves, aquaculture, water pollution and fisheries management.

At the State level, the TCT is represented on bodies such as the Scalefish Fishery Advisory Committee (FAC), Scallop FAC, Crustacean FAC, Abalone FAC, the Marine and Marine Industries Council, the Seal Forum and the Marine Recreational Fishery Council. At the national level we are represented on the Shark Management Advisory Committee (MAC) and Scallop MAC.
